Every town has a story, and we were thrilled to share one of ours on national television. In The American Dream TV: Idaho episode for October 24, 2026, Carlette Napoles and Cheyenne Peterson of The Real Estate Dream Team @eXp Realty LLC take viewers on a morning tour of Meridian, Idaho. We start with coffee at a beloved local spot and finish at a five-acre luxury retreat on Miracle Lane.
Watch the Episode
The full episode runs about 21 minutes. It features hosts from across the state: Jennie Finlay & Brooklyn Finlay, Ron Kirtland & Sherri Kirtland, Alexandria Danilovitch, and Carlette Napoles & Cheyenne Peterson. Together they showcase "the reasons why Idaho is the place many people choose to live, work, and play!"Starting the Day at Mindful Coffee Company
Our segment opens at what we call "our absolute favorite local spot," Mindful Coffee Company in Meridian, where we sat down with founder Brooke Ochojski to hear her story. Brooke describes herself as a serial entrepreneur who "felt like the community really needed a space like Mindful Coffee." For her, it starts with how the place feels: "When someone comes into our space, I want them to feel that energy. It's a beautiful space. It's community." Quality is just as important. Brooke explained that everything they serve is clean, organic, gluten-free, seed-oil-free, fragrance-free, and dye-free. In her words, "that was really important to me, and that was missing from the Treasure Valley."What to order
Ask Brooke for a recommendation and she'll point you to the Mindful Latte, her personal favorite. It's sweetened with honey and finished with lavender, and it's designed so you "could really taste the coffee but not be overpowered by anything too sweet." The Maple Sea Salt Latte, she says, "became a favorite right out of the gate."A safe space for the celiac community
One of the most heartwarming parts of the conversation was hearing how Meridian's celiac community embraced the shop. Mindful Coffee is "a completely gluten-free kitchen, so anybody with celiac can eat here," Brooke shared. She called the support from the community "a huge blessing." There's more to come, too. Brooke confirmed that Mindful Coffee is opening a second location in downtown Boise at 12th and Grove, in the Saratoga building.A Five-Acre Retreat on Miracle Lane
From coffee, we headed to a property that captures what so many people are looking for when they move to the Treasure Valley. The home is our own new listing on Miracle Lane in Meridian, going live on the market Thursday, October 22, 2026. It sits on five acres of privacy while staying just minutes from town. Highlights from the tour:- A private pond and a resort-style pool in the backyard
- More than 5,200 square feet of living space, designed for entertaining
- A setting that feels like "a luxury vacation but it's everyday life"
Why Meridian and the Treasure Valley?
Meridian has grown a lot, and spending a morning with Brooke reminded us why. As we put it in the episode, "you really get a sense of how much this community has grown and how much people value that local connection here in Meridian." Whether you're drawn to Meridian, Boise, Eagle, Kuna, or another corner of the Treasure Valley, the best homes come with that same mix: real community, local businesses you love, and room to breathe.More Idaho in This Episode
